Recently I noticed I was missing a Chef’s knife, the “in-sink-erator”, that thingie that stops the drain in the sink where the disposal is and a lavender plant.
My LO tossed them in the wastebasket, I am certain. When he is being “helpful” in the kitchen, he needs to be supervised. If I am not right there with him, surely something will go missing.
We had a “weeding” day in our teeny front garden about a week ago. Believe it or not, I did not notice a 2′ x 2′ empty space in the corner of the garden for several days later. He must have tossed it in the large leaf bag when my back was turned.
I replaced the knife with a set of three super sharp and very inexpensive, $20.00, knives. If he is going to toss them on a regular basis, I am not spending over fifty bucks on one knife. The drain stopper was $4.00. The lavender plant was $14.00. Not a big deal.
I am so glad I don’t have a large collection of sterling silver!
Love, Jane
